Pastor Greg and his wife Melanie Sheets are founding pastors of Truth Tabernacle which was established in the year 2000. This dynamic pastoral couple believe in investing in the next generation of “giant slayers”. They not only meet monthly with their ministry team and departmental leaders but they also meet with their “Ministry in Training” team. They believe in passing down the mantles of ministry. The church is a reflection of people encouraged to use their gifts and talents for the Lord!
Pastor Sheets knew he was called to preach at the age of fourteen. Pastor Sheets holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Ohio State University, a Master’s Degree from Apostolic Bible College, and a Doctorate degree in Christian Counselling and certified through the National Christian Counselors Association. He is dedicated to winning the lost. His typical Saturday morning includes visiting the parents of the children that come to church from the bus ministry.
Pastor Sheets is part of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) organization. Truth Tabernacle participates in the Ohio district of the UPCI, for several events, conferences, sectional youth rallies, seminars, and camp at the district’s campgrounds located in Millersport, Ohio.
Pastor Sheets has written and directed numerous Christmas and Easter productions that the church ministers through drama.
First Lady Melanie Sheets is a passionate prayer warrior, minister, teacher and musician. She leads several vital ministries here at Truth Tabernacle. As Prayer Coordinator, she organizes various prayer meetings throughout the year. She believes in and practices the power of prayer.
As the Worship Department Director, First Lady endeavors to incorporate various styles of music that are both Spirit-filled and Biblically sound. Each week she can be found, along with her team of talented, dedicated musicians and singers, leading the congregation in praise and worship. She believes in the next generation and has incorporated Youth Worship Wednesdays for youth ages 10 and up to join if they desire to sing.
First Lady Sheets also has a passion for the word, and besides teaching monthly classes and ministering locally, she travels and serves with Healing Heart ministries as well. She has a burden for the broken and through the years her burden has led her to serve in teaching and mentoring in half-way houses, nursing homes and home bible studies. She served two years as a chaplain for a maximum-security jail as well.
One of her favorite ministries is the ministry of hugs and smiles.

Jeff and Patti are over the Discipleship Ministry. They teach mid-week Discipleship classes to new Christians searching for direction and answers from God’s word. They are also in charge of coordinating home Bible studies for those wanting to learn the foundations of Christianity.

Lori is the Sunday School Director. Lori has a true burden for children’s ministry, and it shows. One just needs to see the smiles on the children’s faces or take a quick peek in the classrooms or search pictures on Facebook at all the fun events she plans. Lori uses her creativity, gifts, and talents to share Jesus.

Toni is in charge of bus ministry. She is dedicated in making sure anyone that needs a ride to church gets a ride. She coordinates routes and along with her team of drivers they all share the burden of winning souls.

John and Shannen oversee Ignite Youth. They live on a farm and understand the concept that every Christian is called to be a farmer. Christians should either plant a seed, and/or water a seed, but God gives the harvest. Both John and Shannen have a desire to ignite a fire in the youth that will ignite a passion for Jesus that spreads.

Steven oversees the Hyphen group - which are single adults ages 18 and graduated to 35. Steven has worked as a manager for many top companies. Currently, he is a manager for Amazon. He has used this experience and his leadership gifting to bring exciting direction to the Hyphen group. His gifting is both to gather the group together

She is part of the UPCI’s global missions for short-term mission’s ministry in over 200 countries and has had the great privilege of serving several countries in Europe. Lacy provides needed assistance

Lacy provides needed assistance to appointed missionaries in the field, such as helping to build churches, teaching, mentoring, or lending a hand wherever she is needed. It is her desire to spread the seeds of the Name of Jesus not just to our community but to the entire world.
